Key challenges
BYD’s launch came with immense pressure: only 14 days of production time, a tight urban venue, complex logistics, and the debut of a still-unknown brand in one of Europe’s most tradition-bound automotive markets. Vehicles and technical gear arrived from multiple countries (Italy, Serbia, the Netherlands), requiring tight international coordination. Safety checks on all vehicles had to be completed before press drives could begin. The external test zone – built in the streets surrounding the venue – had to meet regulatory and operational standards for real-world vehicle testing.

BYD vehicles were presented in interactive reveal zones, surrounded by photogenic activations including karaoke stages, an AI photobooth, and a 360° camera installation for instant content sharing. Multilingual stage moments connected Chinese executives with Czech audiences. A DJ and curated lighting elevated the atmosphere, while every zone was designed to blend product storytelling with media-friendly visuals – transforming a press event into a full-sensory brand immersion.
Innovation
The launch reimagined what an automotive debut could be. Test drives were integrated live into the event experience — offering first-hand exposure to the SEALION 7’s Blade Battery and performance, the SEAL’s elegant driving dynamics and up to 570 km range (WLTP), or the SEAL U DM-i’s extended-range hybrid technology. QR codes placed directly inside vehicles allowed guests to unlock technical specs and multimedia. Multilingual moderation ensured a seamless bridge between BYD’s global and local narratives. Digital content was produced and distributed in real-time, mirroring the live story on social channels, and amplifying earned media potential.

Creative Pro delivered the launch end-to-end within just 14 days — covering concept, design, production, logistics, guest management, and press coordination. All test vehicles passed a multi-stage safety check before being released for city drives. The venue was transformed inside and out, including full ground preparation and graveling of the exterior test area. BYD’s flagship models were revealed with high-impact cinematic lighting. Guest flows were mapped to ensure B2B networking zones, media stages, and lifestyle corners operated in harmony, maximizing engagement and accessibility.
