Event Description and Key Objectives

An event that celebrates leadership and innovation by merging human creativity with cutting-edge AI, showcasing Deloitte as a pioneer in digital transformation and how AI can Upscale Human Strength. An AI Dome, where advanced projection mapping and motion graphics, created an inspiring and thought-provoking environment, combined with 360º 7.1 immersive sound, elevate the sensory experience. A live duet between a KUKA robot and a Fado singer symbolized the harmony between human emotion and machine precision. An AI-curated catering further personalized the experience. The key objective was to celebrate leadership and innovation by awarding top-performing companies and showcasing AI's role in the future of business. We aimed to inspire participants to view AI as a tool for creativity and leadership enhancement, leading to future collaborations. Another objective was to position Deloitte as a leader and pioneer in this technology, demonstrating is role as the ideal partner for businesses.

Key challenges

At the heart of the event was the AI Dome, where concentric circles represented neural networks, symbolizing the synergy between AI and human potential. The AI Dome was built using advanced projection mapping, requiring 150+ hours of programming and setup. The motion graphics inside the Dome were generated in real-time by AI, dynamically adapting to audience interactions. However, AI did not replace human creativity; it collaborated with artists, blending pre-produced content with real-time AI visuals to create a fully immersive and evolving experience. A key highlight was the AI-curated catering experience, redefining how technology enhances gastronomy. An AI-driven menu was developed based on guest preferences, analyzing ingredients, dietary needs, and food trends to create an entirely personalized dining journey. Attendees could scan a QR code on their plate, allowing AI to recommend wine pairings and flavor notes in real time.

"Upscaling Human Strength" was the concept by merging human creativity with AI. The main idea was to create the AI Dome, an immersive structure where concentric circles represented neural networks, symbolizing the synergy between human and AI potential. The dome featured real-time motion graphics generated by AI, alongside pre-produced visuals crafted by artists, enhancing the dynamic environment. A standout was a live duet between a KUKA robot and a Fado singer, blending emotion with precision to showcase collaboration. An AI chef curated a menu based on audience preferences, demonstrating AI's role in personalizing experiences. This unique combination of technology and creativity supported our objectives, offering a thought-provoking environment where attendees could experience the future of innovation in a tangible and impactful way.

Innovation

The 360º projection system, powered by AI-driven analytics, adjusted visuals in real-time, responding to audience motion, voice tone, and engagement levels. A key innovation was the integration of artist-created content with AI-generated elements. Artists designed base visuals, while AI dynamically layered data-driven animations on top, ensuring a fluid, ever-changing artistic experience. Motion tracking and facial recognition allowed the visuals to evolve based on attendees' interactions, making each moment unique. The AI-curated catering experience was a technological breakthrough. AI analyzed attendee data in real time to generate personalized food pairings, offering an interactive, data-driven culinary experience. A custom-built AI algorithm identified trending ingredients, suggesting innovative dish combinations that were prepared live. Also Personalized networking algorithms, analyzing profiles to suggest high-value business connections.

Execution

The AI Dome provided an immersive learning and networking environment, where attendees could experience AI’s potential firsthand. The AI-curated menu reinforced the theme of personalization and transformation. Guests could interact with the AI system via a QR-coded dining experience, where AI suggested customized meal pairings based on taste preferences and dietary needs. Adding to the immersion, a live duet between a KUKA robot and a Fado singer showcased AI’s ability to respond to human emotions. The robot’s movements reacted dynamically to the singer’s pitch and rhythm, demonstrating a true collaboration between machine learning and artistic expression. We created an event where technology amplified human creativity rather than replaced it—offering a thought-provoking look at the future of AI in business, culture, and experiences. We targeted business leaders, C-suite executives, and innovators through a multi-channel approach. Our strategy included email marketing (EDM), social media campaigns, and teaser videos to build anticipation. We partnered with CNN for extensive event coverage, including pre-event interviews, live broadcasts, and on-site interviews, highlighting Deloitte’s leadership in AI. Additionally, we collaborated with top economic magazines for articles and features before and after the event, ensuring comprehensive media coverage. The combination of personalized email campaigns, real-time media interactions, and strategic partnerships amplified the event’s impact, reaching key stakeholders effectively and positioning Deloitte as a thought leader in AI and innovation.

Sustainable practices

There were several sustainability measures: The screens were built with lycra that had been reused from other events, for projection onto the Dome; Catering after the event went to the Reefood programme. https://re-food.org/en/home/ The REFOOD movement rescues tons of good food to stop waste and feed people in need. Various materials used in other Deloitte events were also reused. There were no physical invitations, everything was digital, as were the menus. There was a concern to minimise paper printing; LEDs were used to reduce energy consumption during the event; Deloitte is also associated with an ecological footprint compensation programme.
