Help Yemen, organised by Brand Arena Nordic Group AB for UNICEF, took 3rd place in the B2C Event category, recognised for its simple but impactful approach to raising awareness and driving donations.
The campaign highlighted the lack of access to clean water in Yemen by recreating this reality in a familiar environment. Instead of traditional communication, the organisers intervened directly in everyday spaces, such as public restrooms, where people could immediately understand the message.
One of the sinks was intentionally made unusable and visually “contaminated”, creating a direct contrast with the functioning ones. This simple intervention encouraged visitors to reflect on a situation that is otherwise distant and easy to overlook.

from awareness to action
The installation was designed not only to raise awareness but also to trigger immediate action. Clear messaging and a QR code allowed people to donate on the spot and learn more about the situation. The campaign reached over 300,000 people and raised more than €500,000 within one month, demonstrating how a focused idea, executed in the right context, can create very real results.
