The Birthday Party: A Moment Once in Two Centuries brought nearly 14,000 employees together to celebrate Česká spořitelna’s 200th anniversary, taking the award for B2E 3rd place at the Unicorn Awards 2026.
Created by Event Arena for Česká spořitelna, the celebration turned employees from spectators into the main performers. A monumental birthday-cake-inspired stage formed the centrepiece, while 13,986 synchronised LED wristbands connected the entire arena to the show. The highlight was a mass choreography involving 3,566 employees, directed by Yemi A.D.
More than 5,000 employees travelled from 53 locations on 89 buses and three special trains, while a new seating allocation system linked individual seats with registration, transport groups and venue sectors. More than 100 production, technical and operational professionals coordinated the complex event, supported by extensive rehearsals and contingency planning.
Technology became part of the celebration itself, combining 144 kinetic spheres, 604 m² of LED surfaces and Kinect-based motion tracking with the synchronised wristbands. Rather than simply creating visual spectacle, these elements made the entire audience an active part of the production, connecting movement, music, lighting and digital scenography in real time.
