KARNEVAL – Concert Celebrating Joker Out’s 10th Anniversary brought more than 17,000 fans together for a landmark celebration, taking 3rd place in the Best Slovenian Event category at the Unicorn Awards 2026.
Created by SPONTANZO for Joker Out, the event transformed the band’s tenth anniversary into a full-day carnival experience rather than a traditional concert. Inspired by the band’s lyrics, the concept combined live performers, circus arts, acrobatics, bespoke scenography, interactive experiences and special effects into one immersive world. More than 1,500 international visitors from over 50 countries joined the celebration.
The production’s resilience became one of its defining achievements. Just two hours before the headline concert, a severe storm flooded the venue and damaged major elements of the technical infrastructure, including lighting, cameras, LED screens and pyrotechnics. With more than 15,000 people on site and a live national broadcast scheduled, the team rapidly redesigned the production, built temporary walkways and relocated key areas before safely restarting the show.
Karneval also delivered a remarkable cultural and commercial impact. The concert sold more than 15,000 tickets, its national TV broadcast reached 270,000 viewers, and the promotional single surpassed one million streams in its first week. The event generated ten additional Joker Out concert bookings for 2027 and opened the door to future Karneval editions.
