Chosen as the best award in the B2C category was Velo-city 2022 by DEKON Group, an event recognised for its scale and its role in promoting sustainable mobility on a global level.
A GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR CYCLING
As the flagship event of the European Cyclists’ Federation, Velo-city brought together over 1,300 participants from more than 60 countries with a clear goal: positioning cycling as a key solution for healthier cities and sustainable urban development.
The programme combined high-level discussions, exhibitions and networking with strong city-wide activation. The event extended beyond the conference venue into Ljubljana itself, most visibly through the large-scale bike parade that brought together both delegates and residents.
The result was one of the most visible post-COVID events in the city, combining professional content with public engagement. With thousands of participants, strong international reach and a clear sustainability focus, Velo-city 2022 reinforced its role as a leading global platform for cycling and urban mobility.
