The Day of Our Energy took 3rd place in the Best B2I Event category, recognised for its sustainable approach to creating a large-scale internal community experience.
The event was designed as a family day that would strengthen the feeling of belonging and togetherness among employees, while fully embracing sustainability. Instead of a traditional format, the organisers created an entire “VSE town” on a farm, where participants became citizens and actively took part in the programme.
The concept combined entertainment with purpose — from a marketplace and theatre to workshops and a swap zone — all built around sustainable materials, reusable elements and environmentally conscious solutions.
Sustainability was integrated into every aspect of the event, including catering, transport and scenography. Participants were encouraged to engage with the concept, not just experience it, which helped build a stronger sense of community.
The event brought together over 2,000 participants and delivered tangible results — from reduced CO₂ emissions and plastic use to large-scale material reuse. It demonstrated how internal events can create real environmental impact.
