Promotion of Łódź during Routes Europe 2023 ranked 3rd B2B Event category, recognised for its creative approach to showcasing a city with “rather small recognition on the aviation market”.
The objective was clear — to present Łódź as a business opportunity for opening new air connections and to show the diversity, business, touristic and cultural scope of Poland’s third-largest city. With over 1,000 delegates attending evening events and key decision-makers involved throughout the programme, the experience was designed to steer the decision-makers in the right direction.

With no obvious, widely recognised symbols to rely on, the project leaned on creativity, local partnerships and a shared vision between organisers and stakeholders. Close collaboration across the city’s event, cultural and business ecosystem ensured a cohesive and well-executed experience. Guests were introduced to the city through a sequence of curated locations, from historical landmarks to revitalised industrial spaces, each reflecting a different aspect of Łódź.
The result was a measurable shift in perception among delegates, strong feedback and concrete business outcomes, including new routes and strengthened relationships with key industry players.
