Online Brainiacs ranked 2nd in the Best B2C Event category, recognised for turning online safety education into an engaging, large-scale digital experience through a quiz.
Turning online safety into a game
Developed as part of a broader educational programme, the project addressed a growing need to help children better understand and navigate online risks. The initiative used a live online quiz to make learning accessible, interactive and enjoyable for primary school pupils across Slovenia.
A live broadcast format, familiar hosts and a strong visual identity created an environment that felt closer to a show than a lesson. The added ambition of breaking a Guinness World Record brought an extra layer of motivation, encouraging widespread participation.
More than 20,000 children joined the quiz, with over 15,000 completing all questions — more than doubling the required benchmark and successfully setting a new world record. The project reached nearly half of all primary schools in Slovenia, significantly expanding the impact of the programme.
