IBM Destination Apollo ranked 2nd in the Best B2E Event category, recognised for turning a large-scale relocation into a shared employee experience.
Moving 3,500 people into a new office is no small task, but instead of treating it as a logistical exercise, this project turned it into a journey. Over three months, employees were gradually introduced to their new workplace through a series of moments designed to build curiosity, energy and a sense of belonging.

More than just a new office
From teaser campaigns and unexpected installations to staged floor openings, the experience unfolded step by step. Each phase gave employees a reason to engage, explore and reconnect with their workplace — not just as a space, but as a shared environment.
The final “Landing Day” brought everything together. Two locations were connected in real time, with live performances, shared moments and a laser show that symbolically linked the old and the new. It felt less like an opening and more like a milestone.
What made the difference wasn’t just the scale, but the feeling it created. People showed up, engaged and carried that energy forward, becoming natural ambassadors of the workplace and the brand. In the end, Destination Apollo showed that even something as practical as a relocation can become a meaningful, human experience when it’s done with intention.
