Truly Unique Launch, organised by Glasilka, Individa, and Agencija 101, achieved second place among Slovenian events in the Best Slovenian Event category. The launch introduced the Ploom X Advanced, an advanced tobacco-heating device, to over 1,500 business partners and sellers at sales points across Slovenia.
The goal was to impress attendees with an unforgettable program, interactive activations, and cutting-edge technology, turning them into passionate brand ambassadors who would spread the excitement about the product.
The key challenge of the event was navigating Slovenia’s strict legislative restrictions on tobacco marketing, which only allow communication with the B2B segment. On top of that, the market already had strong competitors, and the event had a very short preparation period during one of the busiest months for events. Despite these hurdles, the team successfully engaged the audience and exceeded the 500-attendee target.
Creativity and innovation were at the heart of Truly Unique Launch. Guests received the Ploom X Advanced device in a personalised activation where they engraved their names on the device and printed unique designs on sweaters and hoodies. They explored the product through interactive installations, including a kinetic showreel controlled by hand movements and a hologram performance that made the giant product literally enter the room. NFC wristbands, which acted as tickets and interactive tools, turned the audience into an integral part of the event experience, creating a visually stunning and engaging environment.
The event’s impact went beyond the launch itself. Attendees shared their excitement and branded content on social media, indirectly amplifying reach to end customers. The almost fully digitised approach, combined with sustainable practices like reusable glasses and minimal printed materials, further demonstrated the team’s forward-thinking planning.
