Jövőálló.Kampusz, part of Samsung’s Jövőálló Akadémia initiative and organised by Universum 8, won Best Use of Technology for its groundbreaking approach to engaging Generation Z and Alpha.
Building the Future in Minecraft
The online conference was hosted entirely in Minecraft, where participants themselves built the virtual venue. Influencers and futurologists guided discussions on the workplaces of the future, combining education, entertainment, and community-building in a way never seen before in Hungary
The audience was not just watching—they were co-creators. Participants designed the campus on a dedicated server, and the final design, judged by a live panel of influencers, became the official venue for the conference. This interactive approach encouraged creativity, collaboration, and a sense of ownership among attendees, making the learning experience immersive and highly engaging.

Innovation and Impact
Hosting a conference in Minecraft was a first in Hungary. The event leveraged influencer reach and gaming culture to attract a large, active audience. The combination of presentations, panel discussions, and live voting created a dynamic space where participants could ask questions, interact with experts, and even win prizes. It successfully transformed a complex educational topic into an accessible, fun, and memorable experience for a challenging-to-reach demographic.
Execution and Communication
The event was produced in a dedicated studio, complete with Minecraft-style media setups. Influencers guided the building process and moderated discussions, ensuring smooth execution. Communication relied heavily on social media, influencer promotion, and PR coverage, effectively reaching the target audience in advance and maintaining high engagement throughout the conference.
