“Growing the Future Together” earned the Best in CSR special award in 2025. Organised by MEDUZA EVENTS, this unique teambuilding experience brought together employees to combine professional collaboration with environmental action.
Held in a remote forest near Riga, the event challenged 150 participants to work side by side planting 8,000 pine trees, fostering interbank cooperation while strengthening shared values. The day blended hands-on teamwork with immersive experiences, including guidance from forestry experts and the symbolic touch of a Ukrainian army field kitchen serving freshly cooked meals. Teams were carefully mixed across institutions, encouraging new connections and shared ownership of the project.
MEDUZA EVENTS managed complex logistics for a fully off-grid location, coordinating equipment, safety, food, and planting procedures. The event seamlessly integrated sustainability into every aspect, from zero-electricity operations to low-impact catering and materials, while maintaining a motivating and memorable environment for participants.
The results were remarkable. Environmentally, 8,000 new trees contributed directly to reforestation efforts. Socially, surveys showed a 92% increase in positive perception of cross-institutional collaboration, and 87% of employees felt more aligned with company values. Voluntary engagement exceeded expectations, highlighting a strong commitment to shared goals. The initiative strengthened team spirit, inspired ongoing sustainability projects, and reinforced the banks’ image as socially responsible organisations.
